HISTORY

Norfol was founded by Mr. Asriel Stritzel (Lulo) in 1958, initially manufacturing pacifiers and other latex items, for the market at that time.

The next step was the bumper protectors and pedal covers manufacturing for cars and, consequently, the market shift from latex industry to rubber and plastics segment, in 1962, after the national car industry start.

Norfol was one of the pioneers in supplying cars assemblers that had just been settled in brazilian territory, to which we provided original parts as the well known bumper protectors and, also, other types of finishing items to the assembling lines.

Norfol market kept expanding to the technical area of road and vehicles signalizing, where we were one of the first to introduce the rigid plastic prism reflectors in Brazil, giving cars, buses and trucks drivers more safety in driving, mainly at night, as well as better visibility whether in rain, night or fog, to roads and highways with the use of the prism reflectors on them.

We then entered the market of vehicles accessories parts, conciliating safety and adornment of cars, when we put out our bumper corner plastic covers, with the prism reflectors applied onto them, which were very popular in the 1970s in Brazil. In addition to this line product we also manufactured - and yet to this day do - prism reflectors lights with increased safety, as they limit the vehicles edges as well as provide better conspicuity in harsh weather conditions, being it a mandatory item for use mainly on buses and other long vehicles.

Later, deeper in the accessories parts segment, we were the second plastic wheel covers manufacturer in Brazil and the first one supplying the aftermarket.

Today, in conformity to the global quality demands, we have reached the insurance companies and cosmetics industry, which represent our greatest market share, blended with all the above.

Norfol is a 45-year company, with a history of success, always keeping itself up-to-date, in an outstanding position, and most important, keeping it there, through knowledge, technology and quality in plastics injection and developing new parts and projects for other companies.

Also worried with the social aspect, it tries to channel certain tasks of the productive line, for they be executed at people's workshops with special needs, seeking to offer opportunities of activities works like this to the that need, as well as to aid in the subsistence of the entities maintain of this grandiose work.
